2020 Michigan Early Childhood Strategic Plan: Preschool Development Grant Birth Through Five

The Michigan Department of Education, in tandem with School Readiness Consulting, needed a guidebook to reflect the recent achievements and goals they achieved with empowering preschoolers in the state of Michigan. This was in thanks to a federally appropriated education grant targeted to improving access to quality education for preschoolers. Based on the theme and demographics in the guidebooks, we wanted to reflect a jovial, youthful and diverse theme hence the color palette and chalkboard fonts. Inclusivity was an important target of the grant so it was important to show various diverse images of children across the spectrum.
